“No way,” he said, “will there be a retirement party for me. I am too stubborn.” So family and friends of Rod Hadland arranged the Hadland Classic Golf Tournament last Saturday. More than 100 showed up for the celebration of his 60th birthday and 35 took part in the golf tournament at King’s Walk Golf Course.
