Minot flood forecast could take another 2- to 3-foot leap; evacuation areas widened
The Minot Police Department reported that word of increased water releases at the Lake Darling Dam have brought a new urgency to the flood situation for both the city and the Souris River valley. All Minot residents in the Souris River Valley outside the existing evacuation areas now "need to immediately begin the evacuation process," a release labeled "urgent" said.By: Herald Staff Report, Grand Forks Herald
