Bill to expand gun laws passes Minn., House committee
A bill that would expand the rights of people to use deadly force to defend themselves if they feel they are in imminent danger passed a House public safety committee Thursday despite opposition from some law enforcement, including an assistant police chief who called one provision "a recipe for disaster."By: Amy Forliti, Associated Press
