WEATHER: Snow, freezing rain Friday in NW, north-central N.D.

Snow is spreading across northwestern and north-central North Dakota Friday morning, with snow totals of two to five inches expected from Williston through Kenmare and from Minot to Rolla by Friday night. The heaviest snow amounts likely will be near the Canada border and in the higher elevations of the Turtle Mountains, the National Weather Service says.
