GF business nominated for Upper Midwest Emmy award
Fat Cat Productions of Grand Forks has been nominated for a 2013 Emmy in the community/public service single spot division. The award is presented by the Upper Midwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.
The spot, titled “We Need More Heroes,” is a public service announcement about a man trapped by a fire inside his farm building. A rural North Dakota volunteer fire department and emergency medical services team come to his rescue. The goal of the piece is to help recruit firefighter and emergency volunteers throughout the state.
Winners will be announced at the annual Emmy Awards Gala on Sept. 28 at the State Theater in Minneapolis, Minn.
