Marilyn's book to be released this fall

The cover for Herald columnist Marilyn Hagerty’s new book, “Grand Forks: A history of American dining in 100 reviews,” was recently released by HarperCollins.
The collection, drawn from more than 30 years of Hagerty’s reviews in the Herald, will be featured on food/media personality Anthony Bourdain’s imprint Ecco. The book will be released Aug. 27.
Last year, Bourdain told dining and drinking website Eater that Hagerty has a “sincere, genuine reportage of food that people don’t really see or talk about.” The 86-year-old Hagerty hit the national spotlight after her review of Olive Garden went viral online last year.
