Willard Hanson, 75, of Grand Forks, ND died Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Valley Elder Care, Grand Forks, ND.Willard Hanson was born July 25, 1937 in Hatton, ND the son of Melvin and Malina (Heskin) Hanson. He grew up in Hatton and attended Country School in Hatton and Reynolds, ND. He worked on farms in the Hatton and Reynolds, ND area for many years. He served in the US Army from 1961-1963. He moved to Grand Forks where he worked for Kmart for many years.

He is survived by 1 daughter Tina Simone, Duluth, MN, 2 sisters, Shirley (Ron) Norman of Grand Forks, ND, and Norma (Delmer) Sund of Duluth, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 sisters, Muriel, Natalie and Marie, and 4 brothers, Palmer, Hilman, Harold and Arthur Hanson.
Visitation: 1 hour before service at the funeral home.
Funeral services: 2:00 PM, Friday, February 15, 2013, at the Dahl Funeral Home. East Grand Forks, MN.
Burial: Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks in the spring.
