Altru Alliance donates 10K for hospitality house

The Sunshine Memorial Foundation received the first of five annual $10,000 checks for a proposed hospitality home from the Altru Alliance Saturday at the foundation’s Sunshine Fest in Grand Forks.
During the event, the foundation also unveiled a rendering of the $5 million home, which would be built on the Altru Health System campus.
Fundraising began in 2012 and the foundation hopes to open the house in 2015. It would offer the families of patients a place to stay during their treatment.
Altru Alliance has now donated $35,000 toward the project, and has pledged a total of $75,000.
