Elizabeth Carol Laidlaw and Brent Kristopher Messner, together with their parents Robert and Michele Laidlaw (Grand Forks, ND) and Gregory and Karla Messner (McVille, ND) announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Elizabeth is a 2004 graduate of Red River High School, 2008 graduate of University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and 2011 graduate of Minnesota State University Moorhead with a Masters in School Psychology. She is currently employed with the Grand Forks Public Schools as a school psychologist.

Brent is a 2004 graduate of Dakota Prairie High School and 2008 graduate of University of Minnesota, Crookston with a Bachelor’s degree in sports and recreation management. He is currently employed with Centrol Ag Consulting.

Their wedding will take place January 12, 2013 at Sharon Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, ND. Reception and dance to follow at the Ramada Inn of Grand Forks, ND. The couple resides in Grand Forks, ND.
