ENGAGEMENT: Samson-Weldon

Samson-Weldon

2nd Lt. David John Samson and Heather Rachel Weldon, together with their parents, Paul and Colleen Samson of Park River, North Dakota, and Peter and Noreen Weldon of West Dundee, Illinois, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Heather, originally from Cork, Ireland, moved to the United States as a young girl and graduated in 2009 from Harry D. Jacob’s High School in Algonquin, Illinois. She attended Loyola University Chicago, Illinois, and completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology.

2nd Lt. Samson attended Park River High School graduating in 2006. He is a 2012 graduate of the United States Naval Academy with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. He is currently stationed at TBS, Marine Corp Base, in Quantico, Virginia.

The Sacrament of Marriage will be celebrated on February 2, 2013 at the United States Naval Academy Chapel in Annapolis, Maryland.

The couple will make their home in Pensacola, Florida, where 2nd Lt. Samson is assigned to flight school at the Pensacola Naval Air Station.
