The North Dakota Department of Emergency Services issued a travel advisory for Interstates 29 and 94 Saturday night because of snow-covered and icy roads.
The affected area is north and south of Fargo on Interstate 29 and from Fargo west to Medina, N.D., on Interstate 94. Traffic speeds on both highways were reduced to 40 mph, according to the NDDES advisory.
