BISMARCK — Dakotas-based Sanford Health plans to open a new children's clinic in North Dakota's capital city.

The 9,000-square-foot clinic in north Bismarck will be built to mimic a castle. It is expected to open next spring, supplementing children's care currently provided at Sanford's downtown Bismarck campus.

It will be the first Sanford Children's Castle of Care in North Dakota. Sanford merged with the former Medcenter One in Bismarck in July.

Sanford Health is based in Fargo, N.D., and Sioux Falls, S.D. It bills itself as the largest not-for-profit rural health care provider in the country.
