Johnson-Niffenegger

Kamala Johnson and Frank Niffenegger, Phoenix, AZ, announce their engagement.

Parents are Wade and Paula Johnson, Grand Forks, ND; and Paul and Kim Niffenegger, Maple Valley, WA.

Kamala graduated from Red River High School in 2004 and from University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Business in 2008. She was accepted into the Teach For America Program and received her MA in Elementary Education and Leadership from Arizona State University. She is currently the Reading Curriculum Specialist for Cesar Chavez Community School in Phoenix, AZ.

Frank graduated from Red River High School in 2004, from Lake Superior College in Firefighter Tech and Administration in 2009, and from Arizona Academy of Emergency Services in 2011. He is currently working as a paramedic with Southwest Ambulance.

An October 13 wedding is planned at Maricopa Manor Bed and Breakfast Inn in Phoenix, AZ.
