Mike Dewald, Grand Forks, letter: Thanks for helping Altru Walk succeed

GRAND FORKS — Thanks and deep gratitude to the strong response we received for the Altru Walk for Suicide Prevention on a cold and rainy day, Sept. 16.

From the tireless work of Altru’s Community Committee to the donations of time, resources, and funds from many individuals and businesses, the emotional impact of suicide was evident as each person involved remembered those lost and to tell others there’s hope and a way out.

One hundred percent of the designated program funds will be used in the region to offer training on suicide intervention skills and other efforts. We are proud to be a part of our community.
