ANNIVERSARY: Lloyd and Charlene Walker

40th Wedding Anniversary

Lloyd and Charlene Walker of Grafton will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary on Sept. 9.

Lloyd Walker and Charlene Petersen were married on September 9, 1972, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Red Lake Falls, MN. They moved to Grafton in 1976 where Lloyd was the automotive technology instructor at North Valley Career and Technology Center until retiring in May of 2010. Charlene taught piano for several years and has been employed as a Special Education teacher at Midway Public School since 1988. They are the parents of two children, Anders (Sara) Walker, Marion, IA and Sarah (Peter) Matcha of Fargo. They are also grandparents to 3, soon to be 5 grandchildren. They plan to celebrate the event privately with family.
