‘Stepping On’ course set for Grand Forks, Northwood

A free “Stepping On” course, to help older adults with balance and strength to prevent falls, will begin Sept. 12 in Grand Forks and Northwood, N.D.
The seven-week course will be offered Wednesday mornings at Holy Family Catholic Church in Grand Forks and at the Senior Center in Northwood. It’s the same program that was recently offered at the Grand Forks Senior Citizens Center, said instructor Molly Soeby of Grand Forks.
Participants will work with UND occupational and physical therapy students and their professors. The students will help with home visits, checking for falling hazards.
