Thomas and Susan Panneck celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in San Diego, August 16-18, 2012 with immediate family and Susan’s younger sister and brother-in-law. The celebration concluded with a special dinner at a restaurant in the Little Italy neighborhood of San Diego.
The couple were married on September 1, 1962, in Buena Park, CA. Thomas is a retired electrical engineer for a division of Rockwell International (which was later folded into Boeing) and Susan is retired from raising six children. After living in Grand Forks, ND for over thirty years, they moved to Tucson in 2007 where they now currently reside. They enjoy traveling, volunteering for church activities and working part-time with SIL (Wycliffe Associates) in Arizona.
Their children (and spouses) are Christopher (and Helen) Panneck of Los Angeles, CA; Veronica (and Jay) Poissant of Burlington, WI; Jeff (and Stacy) Panneck of Marana, AZ; Greg (and Kari) Panneck of Herndon, VA; Katie Panneck (and fiancé, Chris) of Austin, TX; Nolan (and Katie) Panneck of Chicago, IL. The Pannecks have eight grandchildren.
