Evenson-Hoots

Kayla Hoots and Christopher Evenson, Valley City, N.D., announce their engagement.

Parents are Gary and Norean Hoots, Moorhead; John Evenson, Edinburg, N.D.; and Shelly Evenson, Ardoch, N.D.

Kayla graduated in 2003 from Moorhead High School and in 2010 graduated from the University of North Dakota, with a bachelor’s degree in mass communications. She is the housing assistant and head resident at Valley City State University.

Christopher graduated in 2004 from Edinburg High School and in 2010 graduated from North Dakota State University with a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness. He is an agronomist with Dakota Plains Cooperative.

A Sept. 22 wedding is planned in Edinburg.
