Brad and Pam Carlson of Grand Forks, ND and Gary and Cindy Meyer of Clara City, MN are proud to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Kayla Carlson and Nathan Meyer.

Kayla is a 2004 graduate of Red River High School in Grand Forks. She received her Bachelor's and Master's degree from the University of North Dakota in Elementary Education. Kayla is currently working as an elementary teacher for Grand Forks Public Schools.

Nate is a 2001 graduate of MACCRAY High School. He graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics with a major in Air Traffic Control. Nate is currently working at the Grand Forks International Airport as an Air Traffic Controller.

The couple will be married on August 4th at Calvary Lutheran Church in Grand Forks, followed by a reception and dance at the Howard Johnson of Grand Forks. They will reside in Grand Forks, ND.
