Anna Whelan and Erik Sjursen are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.

Their parents are Jeff and Greta Whelan of Crystal, ND and Phil Sjursen and Janet Wellenstein of Bismarck, ND.

Anna is a 2006 graduate of Valley High School and a 2012 graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Tourism.

Erik is a 2007 graduate of Bismarck Century High School and a 2011 graduate of the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Tourism. He is employed with Charles Hall Youth Services in Bismarck.

The wedding will take place on June 30, 2012 at St. Thomas United Methodist Church in St. Thomas, ND, followed by a reception at Fair Oaks Golf Club in Grafton, ND.
