This Asian-inspired one-pot meal is quick and easy.

Beef Skillet Supper

4 teaspoons minced garlic

2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

½ cup orange juice

½ cup water

4 teaspoons ground ginger

4 teaspoons sesame oil

8 ounces sirloin steak fat removed, cut into ½-inch strips

Salt, freshly ground pepper

¼ pound fresh or steamed Chinese egg noodles

4 cups shredded cabbage

2 cups trimmed snow peas

Mix garlic, soy, orange juice, water, ginger. Heat 2 teaspoons oil in nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Add steak; saute 1 minute a side. Put on plate, sprinkle with salt, pepper. Add sauce, noodles, cabbage, peas to pan. Bring to boil; cook 3 minutes. Add meat; cook 1 minute. Remove from heat, stir in rest of oil.

Yield: Serves 2.
