Altru to host diabetes presentation

The public is invited esentation by diabetes physician-specialists James Brosseau of Altru Health System and Stephen Smith of Mayo Clinic on April 10. The free event, which will be held 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Alerus Center, will provide general information and tips on healthy lifestyle choices for diabetes control from the doctors, a diabetes educator and a dietician.

The public is invited esentation by diabetes physician-specialists James Brosseau of Altru Health System and Stephen Smith of Mayo Clinic on April 10.

The free event, which will be held 1 to 2:30 p.m. at the Alerus Center, will provide general information and tips on healthy lifestyle choices for diabetes control from the doctors, a diabetes educator and a dietician.

Attendees also can view exhibitor booths, including displays of equipment and monitoring supplies for people with diabetes.

To register, call Janet Sherette at Altru’s Diabetes Center at 701-780-1838 by Friday.

The event is being held in conjunction with an Altru-sponsored diabetes care symposium for health professionals.
