Wanda Block, 86, of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, died January 26, 2012.

Wanda was born February 9, 1925 in Grand Forks, ND to George and Laura (Johnson) Block. Wanda grew up in rural Grand Forks and on November 10, 1947 headed out to California and settled in Los Angeles. In Los Angeles, Wanda worked at Sears, Hughes Aircraft and TRW. Wanda's love of animals lead her to be a dog groomer at Pet Manor in Torrance, CA until her retirement.

Wanda is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Russell and Warren; sisters, Ione Brenna, June Heth and Eunice Tomaselli.

A memorial and interment service was held February 1, 2012 at Green Hills Mortuary in San Pedro, CA.
