FARGO — Sanford Health has opened its new women’s unit at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo.
The unit adds 12 beds and 28 staff members. Spokeswoman Andrea Voorhees said it’s for patients going through such things as breast surgeries and postpartum care. It has hotel-like amenities, spa bathrooms and larger rooms for families.
The $2 million project was dedicated Monday.
Sanford is based in Fargo and in Sioux Falls, S.D.
