Altru to hold grand opening for fitness center Thursday

Altru Health System is holding an all-day grand opening Thursday for its Medical Fitness Center, showcasing new equipment and other upgrades.
Informational booths, tours and demonstrations will be available 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Herald food editor Jeff Tiedeman will show how to make smoothies and muffins at 7 a.m. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at noon.
