23-year-old Hillsboro woman dies in rollover

A 23-year-old Hillsboro, N.D., woman was killed in a one-vehicle rollover Saturday night in Traill County, according to a news release from the North Dakota Highway Patrol.

According to the report, the woman was driving a 2008 Chevrolet pickup eastbound on Traill County Road 13 about 8½ miles northeast of Hillsboro at about 6:20 p.m. when she failed to navigate a curve in the road. The pickup left the roadway, entered the south ditch and rolled. The woman was ejected from the vehicle.

She was transported by ambulance to Hillsboro Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

The driver’s name is being withheld pending notification of family.

The crash remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
