Peggie Lee Rice and Scott Ryan Urick were married Sunday, September 18, 2011, at Woodend Sanctuary in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Mary Ellen Stanton of the Northern Virginia Ethical Society performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. Bonnie Peterson and Dr. Daniel Rice of Grand Forks, North Dakota. The bride attended Red River High School and the University of North Dakota where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1999. Rice graduated with a Master's in Journalism from Georgetown University in 2009 and now works at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
The groom is the son of Linda and David Urick of Fairfax, Virginia, and works as the Offensive Coordinator for the Georgetown Men's Lacrosse Program.
The newlyweds reside in Washington D.C.
