Cheddar Bay Biscuits
2½ cups Bisquick
4 tablespoons cold butter
1 heaping cup grated cheddar cheese
¾ cup whole milk
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons butter, melted
½ teaspoon garlic powder

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine Bisquick with cold butter in medium bowl using pastry cutter or fork. Be careful not to mix too thoroughly. Leave small chunks of butter in mixture size of peas. Add Cheddar, milk, garlic powder. Mix by hand until combined. Don’t overmix. Using ice cream scoop, drop approximately ¼-cup portions of dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 15 to 17 minutes or until the tops of the biscuits begin to turn light brown. When you remove biscuits from oven, melt 2 tablespoons butter in small bowl in microwave. Stir in ½ teaspoon garlic powder, dried parsley flakes. Use brush to spread garlic butter over tops of biscuits.
Yield:12 biscuits.
