Ghosts and goblins of all ages are invited to “Halloween in July” on Saturday in Turtle River State Park.

Festivities will begin at 7 p.m. with an all-ages costume contest in the amphitheater. Categories will be age 2 and younger, ages 3 to 5, ages 6 to 9, age 10 and older and adult.

Trick-or-treating among the campsites will begin at 8:20 p.m., and judging for the best decorated and spookiest sites will follow at 9 p.m.

The ghoulish evening will conclude with a trek along the Spooktacular Haunted Trail. Park officials ask that participants do not use strollers and wagons on the trail for safety reasons. Their use is permitted during trick-or-treating.

For more information, contact the park at (701) 594-4445 or log on to www.parkrec.nd.gov.
