This is aerial footage of the flooded Souris River beginning to top levees in Minot Wednesday.

The video, uploaded on YouTube, was provided by the North Dakota National Guard. The videography was by Master Sgt. Eric Johnson, 119th Wing, North Dakota National Guard.

The video was taken when the Souris was at about 1555.5 feet above see level; 1550 feet is the start of major flooding. River flood forecasts said the Souris is expected to crest at about 1563 feet in Minot.
