Some roads near East Grand Forks are listed in difficult driving condition by the Minnesota Department of Transportation late this afternoon.
The roads include Minnesota Highway 220 between East Grand Forks and Alvarado, U.S. Highway 2 between East Grand Forks and Crookston, and U.S. Highway 75 from Warren south all the way to Perley, north of Moorhead.
The highway department, on its website, reports icy patches and warns of blowing or drifting snow over roadways.
Many of the rest of northwest Minnesota's Red River Valley highways were listed in fair driving condition as of 4:30 p.m.
