North Dakota's Founding Farmers' restaurant to make national TV debut

FARGO - The North Dakota Farmers Union’s restaurant, Founding Farmers’, will be featured on “The Best Thing I Ever Ate” Reinvented Classics episode on The Food Network at 9 p.m. Monday, Jan. 3.
Chef Robert Irvine will showcase the restaurant’s Devil-ish Eggs Combo, which he sampled while visiting D.C. recently.
Founding Farmers’ Executive Chef Al Nappo will reveal his tricks of adding fresh lobster, crab, smoked salmon and a few secret ingredients to the filling.
A recipe for the Devil-ish Eggs Combo will be featured in the February edition of NDFU’s publication, the Union Farmer.
The Forum of Fargo-Moorhead and the Herald are both Forum Communications Co. newspapers.
