CHEF JEFF — ONE BYTE AT A TIME: Ham Balls

This finger food would be awesome for a work potluck.

By: Herald Staff Report,

This finger food would be awesome for a work potluck. They always seem to be a big hit.

Ham Balls

BALLS:

1 pound ground ham

2 pounds ground pork

2 cups cracker crumbs

2 beaten eggs

1 cup milk

GLAZE:

1 cup brown sugar

¼ cup vinegar

¾ cup water

1 teaspoon prepared mustard

Mix all ingredients for balls thoroughly. Shape into egg-size balls and then place in baking dish. (A big roaster pan will work.)

Pour glaze over the top and bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes. Then dial back the heat to 350 degrees and bake for another 30 to 35 minutes.
