BISMARCK — Three more North Dakota properties might be considered for the National Register of Historic Places.

The state's Historic Preservation Review Board is meeting Friday to consider the nominations. They include Works Progress Administration features at a Valley City park, the Rolla Methodist Episcopal Church and the Whitestone Hill battle site in Dickey County.

The National Register is the federal government's list of properties deemed worthy of recognition and preservation. The Historic Preservation Review board makes recommendations to the state historic preservation officer, who decides which properties to nominate to the register.
