CHANHASSEN, Minn. — Fifty couples from across Minnesota are saying "I do" today at Chanhassen Dinner Theatres.
The suburban Twin Cities theater is hosting a mass wedding ceremony for selected couples either tying the knot or renewing their marriage vows.
After the ceremony, the couples will attend a banquet, a private performance of the musical "I Do! I Do!" and a reception with cake, champagne and dancing.
Chanhassen Dinner Theatres has revived "I Do! I Do" 17 years after the show's record run at the theater. The musical ran 22 and 1/2 years at Chanhassen with the original two-person cast — a total of more than 7,600 performances.
"I Do! I Do!" follows 50 years of a couple's marriage, from their wedding day to old age. The revival has a new cast.
