By: Herald Staff Report,

Here’s something everyone will like, especially the kids.

Tater Tot Hotdish

2 pounds ground wild game

¼ cup onion (optional)

¼ teaspoon pepper

1 teaspoon seasoning salt

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 can cream of chicken soup

1 pound package frozen tater tots

½ cup milk

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Fry the first five ingredients together and drain. Place the mixture into a 9-by-12-inch glass baking pan. Add tater tots on top. In a separate saucepan, combine and heat the soups and milk. Pour over meat mixture, cover and bake for 40 minutes in 350-degree oven. Uncover, add cheese and bake until the cheese browns.
