Here’s a meal — from some people who know a bit about cooking wild game — that will really stick to your ribs.

Sauced Fish

4 fish fillets

1 small onion (chopped)

4 ounces fresh sliced mushrooms

6 teaspoons hot water

3 tablespoons butter

3 tablespoons flour

2 cups milk

1 tablespoon fish and seafood seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

Place fish in a baking dish. In a saucepan cook onions and mushrooms in water until semitender. Add butter, stir in flour and mix well. Add milk and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

Season the sauce and pour it over your fish.

Bake in a 350-degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes until tender.
