Report card: Boot has weathered changing times and a plethora of franchise-type restaurants. Excellent service by core of three longtime waitresses. Steaks are excellent. Menu is straightforward, focusing on steaks, seafood. Nightly specials include 8-ounce top sirloin with potato and coleslaw for $15.95 on Wednesdays. One of few places you can find lamb chops, jumbo sea scallops.
