— Report card: Originally known as a pancake place, Perkins serves a full menu of breakfast, lunch, dinner and in-between items at competitive prices. Service varies but usually is pretty good. The wait staff manages to be friendly without being intrusive. The ambience is comfortable and homey with a tempting bakery counter at the entryway. A good middle-of-the-road place for a casual meal.
