H1N1 vaccine still available in Polk County

Polk County Public Health said it still has nasal mist and injectable H1N1 vaccine, by appointment.

Polk County Public Health has H1N1 vaccine for those that missed earlier clinics and want to be vaccinated for H1N1. Both nasal mist and injectable vaccine are available.

Children under 10 years of age need two H1N1 vaccines given one month apart, according to a press release from Polk County Public Health. Those over 10 years of age only need one H1N1 vaccine.

Appointments can be made at (218) 281-3385; ask for Crystalynn or June.
