Everett Kropp, 80, of Crookston, MN, died on Sunday, November 15, 2009 at Riverview Care Center, Crookston, MN.

Everett Louis Kropp was born on April 24, 1929 in Crookston, MN the son of Everett and Elizabeth Rose (Brantl) Kropp Sr.

Everett grew up and lived by Dorothy, MN on a farm. He lived in Sherack, MN and worked as a bartender in his fathers bar. He served his country in Germany from 1952-1954. He moved back to Crookston where he worked at Zitzer's Greenhouse and later for the Maintenance Department as an electrician for the Agriculture College in Crookston, MN. He married Marjorie A. Bordenkircher in Crookston, MN on September 16, 1961. He retired from the University of Minnesota Crookston in 1987 and then worked as a van driver for the Tri Valley Head Start Program from 1987-1997.

Everett is survived by his wife Marjorie of Crookston, MN, 3 children, Laurie Anne (Lempia) of Center Point, Iowa, John Michael Kropp of St. Paul, MN, and Michael Charles Kropp of Grand Forks, 1 brother Myron Charles Kropp of Los Gatos, CA.

Everett is preceded in death by his parents and numerous Aunts and Uncles.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Cathedral of The Immaculate Conception, 702 Summit Ave., Crookston, MN.

Visitation: One Hour before Memorial Service in the Cathedral Church.

Inurnment: Calvary Cemetery ~ Crookston, MN
