WEDDING: Valek-Zasoski

Amy Valek and Michael Zasoski were married August 8, 2009 in St. Dominic Catholic Church, Northfield, MN. The ceremony was officiated by Father Dennis Dempsey. Their parents are Larry and Roxanne Valek, Northfield, MN, and William and Cheryl Zasoski, Grand Forks.

Matron of honor was Amy Schendel. Bridesmaids were; Vicki Hernandez, Robin Pikal, Stephanie Grundman, Sara Archambault, and Elizabeth Zasoski. Junior bridesmaids were Adison Hernandez and Holly Schendel. Best man was Matthew Zasoski. Groomsmen were Lou Hernandez, Bryan Pikal, Josh Lawrence, Charley Tharp, and Eric Hagen. Junior groomsmen were Cohlby Hernandez, Jace Hernandez, and Henry Schendel. Ushers were Steve Mueller and Chuck Zasoski.

Amy is a 1995 graduate of Northfield High School, a 1999 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, and a 2005 graduate of St. Mary’s University. She is currently a first grade teacher at Roosevelt Elementary in Faribault, MN.

Michael is a 1997 graduate of Red River High School and a 2001 graduate of Northland Community and Technical College, Thief River Falls. He is currently a landscape truck driver with Yardscapes in Bloomington, MN

After a honeymoon cruise to the Bahamas, the couple resides in Apple Valley, MN.
