The Grand Forks Blue Devils won the North Dakota Cal Ripken 12-year-old state championship in Minot on July 17-20.
The Blue Devils finished the tournament with a 4-0 record, beating Bismarck
11-1 in the championship game.
Grand Forks now advances to the Midwest Plains Regional in Waite Park, Minn., on July 29 to Aug. 2.
The Grand Forks Blue Devils team members are Brandon Walters, Jacob Robson, Cole Kirchoffner, Logan Montgomery, Eric Leach, Kaleb Binstock, Ryan Richardson, Gunner Garritson, Eric Johnson, Al Decker, Josh Steen, Logan Steen, and Jayce Turner.
Coaches are Rob Kirchoffner, Shawn Walters, Marty Steen, and Mark Decker.
