The Grand Forks Angels girls hockey team finished second in the 12-and-under division at the state tournament March 13-15 in Bismarck.
The Angels 12-U team placed second at state.
They defeated Mandan 9-1 and Bismarck 14-0 before falling 4-2 to West Fargo in the final.
Team members are Shlyar Moore, Megan Knoell, Christina Schlosser, Myranda Podell, Brooke Berry, Annie Boeckers, Alissa Schmidt, Sonya Bjerke, Alexis O’Halloran, Mackenzie Olson, Marissa Byrne, Shelby Brossart, Jamie O’Halloran and Jerrica Rosendahl.
