Chef Jess - How to make Spaghetti Pie

1 / 2
2 / 2

Spaghetti pie

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a large saute pan, combine ground beef, sausage, onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper.  Cook until meat is browned and onions are translucent. Remove the pan from the heat and place the meat mixture in the bottom of a large mixing bowl.  Add marinara sauce, ricotta, parmesan, and eggs.  Stir together and add pasta.  Stir until everything is evenly combined.

Pour spaghetti mixture into a prepared springform pan.  Top with shredded mozzarella cheese and place the filled pan on a baking sheet to prevent leaks.  Place the pan in the oven and bake for 50 minutes.  Remove the pan from the oven and let stand for 15 minutes.  Run a knife around the edge of the pan and release the springform pan. Slice into pie-shaped wedges and top with marinara when serving.

Serves 8.

½ teaspoon black pepper
