Escaped Devils Lake jail inmate captured

Craig Hanson of Grand Forks shows off two lake trout that were the catch of the day — and the night’s main course — during a recent canoe trip to Woodland Caribou Provincial Park in northwest Ontario with canoeing partner Dave Osowski of Grafton, N.D. It was their 15th trip to the Ontario wilderness park.

Brad Dokken

Brad Dokken is editor of the Herald's Northland Outdoors section and also works as a copy editor and page designer.
