Vikings sign DE Crichton
Third-round pick Scott Crichton signed a four-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings worth nearly $3 million.
Crichton, a defensive end at Oregon State, had 22.5 sacks in three seasons with the Beavers.
"It's all done," Crichton wrote via Twitter before the Vikings confirmed the deal Thursday morning. "Ready for the next chapter of my life."
Crichton left Corvallis after three years to help support his parents. His father is a warehouse worker who lost a leg for "medical reasons" according to Crichton.
