Thanks for helping Habitat event succeed

GRAND FORKS — I am writing to express Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity’s gratitude to those who helped with our open house on Jan. 30.

Through the hard work of Katy Fink and Marie Strinden at the North Valley Arts Council, we were able to stage an art show in conjunction with the open house, giving volunteers and residents the chance to tour the house and see some fantastic local art at the same time.

A special thank you to JLG Architects, Minnkota Power Cooperative and Happy Harry’s Bottle Shop for supporting our event, as well as to all those people who braved the cold temperatures to help us showcase the work of Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity.

Kosior is executive director of Red River Valley Habitat for Humanity.
