Michele Remer scored 20 points while Jordyn Lloyd added 19 as East Grand Forks Sacred Heart downed visiting Kittson County Central on Thursday night.

But Sacred Heart coach Joann Remer said it was the team’s defensive effort, particularly from Lloyd, that helped Sacred Heart extend its two-point halftime lead.

“She had an excellent second half,” Remer said of Lloyd. “She had the 19 points, but she had a lot of rebounds and steals to go along with it.”

Kittson County Central received 16 points from Hope Sele.

Sacred Heart improved to 18-2 and will play at Fertile-Beltrami tonight.
