NY Yankees' Derek Jeter says 2014 season will be his last

WASHINGTON - New York Yankees veteran shortstop Derek Jeter on Wednesday said he will stop playing Major League Baseball at the end of the 2014 season.

In a post on his Facebook page, Jeter said he made the decision following a tough season last year amid various injuries.
